EU extends AD on ferrosilicon from China and Russia
2020-07-08
The European Commission has approved the extension of antidumping duty on ferrosilicon (FeSi) from China and Russia. The regulation took effect from July 2, 2020, for a period of five years until July 1, 2025. Accordingly, ex-China and ex-Russia FeSi imports will be subject to duties as follows: production by Chinese Erdos Xijin Kuangye at 15.6 percent, Lanzhou Good land Ferroalloy Factory at 29 percent and by all other Chinese producers at 31.2 percent; products from Russia’s Bratsk Ferroalloy Plant at 17.8 percent and for all other Russian companies at 22.7 percent.
New exporting producers may apply to the Commission to be attributed the appropriate weighted average anti-dumping duty rate applicable to the cooperating companies. The original measures on the product in question were imposed in 2008.
